  • Chapter

Abstract

In recent years the problems of diagnosing and treating patients with psychiatric and substance abuse comorbidities has become of serious concern. They have often been refused admission to treatment, referred to other programs, or just not noticed because they were felt to be untreatable or had very poor prognoses.
