Abstract
After a brief description of a proposed model of particle adhesion under turbulent flow conditions, the range of its validity is examined. The model is extended to include the experimentally observed rolling of the particles by turbulent bursts. A relationship between the sticking probability and the various parameters that affect the deposition process has been obtained.
