Abstract
What is it like to have multiple sclerosis? After five years of MS, I have to say I don’t know. Relapsing-remitting MS is an infuriatingly unpredictable and variable illness. What follows is an account of my own MS; others will, I’m sure, have had entirely different experiences.
Dr. Miriam Chellingsworth, 30, is a trainee in internal medicine, at present a research fellow in clinical pharmacology at Birmingham University Medical School, UK.
