Abstract
Microbial agents have often been reported in association with flares of psoriasis and psoriasis often clears when treated with antimicrobial agents or tonsillectomy.2, 8–12 All patients seen at the University of Tennessee Psoriasis clinic are studied for evidence of relevant micro-organisms. We report a survey of the microbial findings in 95 patients chosen at random from the 693 psoriasis patients seen during 1995.
