Abstract

Numerous well-accepted assumptions abound on the measurement of human brain function. For example, it is well understood and accepted that for the accurate assessment of neuropsychological performance one must have both appropriate instruments and well-trained professionals. The assumption behind this premise is fairly simple: If the testing situation is held appropriately constant, then the dependent measure will be correctly measured.
