Electron Spin Polarimetry Instrumentation Survey: 1994

  • Chapter
Polarized Electron/Polarized Photon Physics

Part of the book series: Physics of Atoms and Molecules ((PAMO))

Abstract

The following table summarises the world-wide distribution of electron spin polarimeters. It is designed to give those interested in the area; some historical perspective, a ‘feel’ for the popularity, or otherwise, of the various polarimeters currently used for atomic, molecular and condensed matter physics applications, and finally to highlight which groups are active in roughly which scientific areas. Polarimeters for beta spectroscopy and high energy physics are not (currently) included.
