Abstract
Standing in front of you to introduce this distinguished discussion panel makes me nostalgic, indeed. I am taken aback immediately over the decades to my arrival officially on July 1, 1962, at the University of Miami. There I met a new colleague, Behram Kursunoglu. He soon proposed the establishment of a Center for Theoretical Studies. The Center would invite the greatest scientists of the time to come to the campus for discussion and debate. The papers and talks stimulated and refined current thinking to provide new glimpses into ultimate physical reality.
