From One to Two Dimensions in the Weak Coupling Limit

We have analyzed the electron selfenergy in the Hubbard model in the weak coupling limit, using standard perturbation theory, to study the evolution from the 1-D to the 2-D case. The momentum dependence is very important at low dimensions and has been taken into account completely working in finite systems1 (with 2000 sites). We have paid special attention to the anomalous behavior of the one-particle properties.
