Abstract

A clear estimation of exposure is an important step in the risk assessment for pesticides. In the “Guidance Document” prepared by Chester (1995) the available methods for measuring pesticide exposure to operators and others are reviewed and guidance is given for the determination of exposure and absorption. The “Guidance Document” provides flexibility on the approaches that can be used when conducting an exposure study.
