Following ingestion of ethylene glycol (EG) by a female subject, plasma oxalate, glyoxylate, creatinine, and urea were determined along with urinary oxalate, glyoxylate, and formate. We evaluated the catabolism of EG and the usefulness of these measurements in treating EG ingestion.
