Search for the Barium Isotope Effect in the High-Tc Superconductor YBa2Cu3O7-x

Abstract

The barium isotope substitution effect on the superconducting transition temperature has been searched for in the high-Tc superconductor YBa2Cu3O7-x. No shift in the transition temperature Tc was observed by ac magnetic susceptibility measurements within 0.25 K.
