Anisotropy Effects in the System La-Sr-Cu-O

Recent experimental and theoretical studies on the upper critical magnetic field, the Hall effect and the thermopower indicate that the system La-Sr-Cu-O is highly anisotropic. This theoretical study attempts to describe the thermodynamic data consistently within the framework of an anisotropic strong coupling theory. The results of the theoretical study agree well with the data within experimental accuracy.
