—Ah, the microphone, I forgot; thank you Jacques. It is very important, I wouldn’t want to repeat what happened to me a few years ago. In the middle of a lecture, somebody in the last row shouted: “I didn’t hear a single word of what you were saying the last half hour”, upon which a person in the first row shouted back “I will gladly change seats with you”. Anyway, I like those little microphones that you clip on. In the past you had to hold this large contraption in your hand, which cramped your style. It always reminded me of the sign next to a Tel Aviv bus driver which read: “don’t talk to the driver, he needs his hands for driving”.
