Abstract
In the preceding lectures, we have heard about a variety of experimental investigations which are tightly bound with the “droplet model”. This model, which appeared in the early studies of microemulsions, has been very successful and illuminating in many monophasic microemulsions, but it seems more questionable for the three phase microemulsion systems (Figure 1).
