Abstract
The authors in this volume describe change processes both inside and outside therapy. Although reaching consensus on the change process in therapy is difficult enough, the present chapter will look at psychological change in general, including ideas from social and organizational psychology. Space does not allow for a full explication of this model, so I shall focus on the convergencies in cognitive-behavioral, social-organizational, and psychodynamic-developmental theories.
