Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic inflammatory disease characterized by chronic destructive arthritis and various extraarticular manifestations such as rheumatoid nodules and vasculitis. This chapter is limited to a discussion of the role of endothelium in the pathogenesis of the articular features of the disease.
