Cognitive Sequelae in Closed Head Injury

  • Chapter

Part of the book series: Critical Issues in Neuropsychology ((CINP))

Abstract

For the past 18 years our laboratory has been conducting neuropsychological assessments on head-injured patients referred by neurosurgeons, neurologists, attorneys, insurance companies, and government agencies. The reports include a complete profile which outlines the patient’s strengths and weaknesses, memory quotient, intellectual functions, emotional adjustment, and the examiner’s perception of situational factors which may play a role in the patient’s difficulties.
