Abstract
Since the Phenomenology of Consciousness Inventory (PCI) is similar to and contains many of the items found in predecessor instruments, the Phenomenology of Consciousness Questionnaire (PCQ) and the (Abbreviated) Dimensions of Consciousness Questionnaire (A)DCQ, the development of the PCQ and the (A)DCQ will be presented first. This chapter will focus on the PCQ while the next chapter will discuss the (A)DCQ.
