Regulation of Cyclotron Radiopharmaceutical Production and Distribution: An Agreement State Perspective

  • Jon R. Sharp

This paper discusses state regulation of radiation, radioactive materials, and particularly the production of radiochemicals, radiopharmaceuticals and other products with accelerators. The experience that the Texas Bureau of Radiation Control (the Agency) has had recently with two cyclotrons at large medical institutions may benefit others as they initiate such projects.
