Structural Completeness of Purely Implicational Intermediate Logics

  • Chapter

Abstract

The notion of structural completeness was introduced in Pogorzelski (1971). It is known that structural completeness can be characterized in different ways; cf. Mackinson (1976), Pogorzelski and Wojtylak (1982), Pogorzelski (1971), Prucnal and Wroński (1974), Prucnal (1972), and Tsitkin (1978). For example, it can be characterized as follows. Let Cn be any consequence operation in a given language F.
