The high molecular weight antitumor compounds(HMAC) are attracting much interest from the standpoints of polymers synthesis as well as drug development, because of their higher specificity of action, lower toxic side effects and longer duration of drug action as compared with low molecular weight antitumor compounds(LM AC).1–9
