The Optical Properties and the AC. Conductivity of the Gamma-Irradiated Abs Material

The analysis of the optical absorption determined by Shimadzu Spectrophotometer in the wavelength range 200–1100 nm is presented for non-radiated and gamma-irradiated Acrylate-Butadiene-Styrene(ABS) material. In addition the a.c. conductivity in the frequency range 0.1 – 100kHz is studied for the same material . Detailed calculations of the optical energy and the type of transition of energy absorptions are presented . The AC. conductivity for the material follows the power-law formula : \(\sigma \left( \omega \right)\sim {\omega ^S}\) with (s) varying between 0.94 to 0.98 .
