Bound Water in Plants

Abstract

According to former experiments carried out in our Institute the vapor pressure, (Ernst et al., 1950) and the density, (Pócsik 1966; 1967) of the remaining water of the gradually dried muscle (gastrocnemius, sartorius of the frog etc.) gradually increases, which shows in our opinion the increasing boundedness of the remaining water.
