Abstract

Although the maize inbred line B73 is the leading parent for hybrid corn production in the United States, there are no reports of regeneration from established cultures of this inbred. Organogenic tissue, embryogenic callus, and embryogenic cell suspensions have now been obtained from embryo-derived tissue cultures.
