Abstract

We determine, both experimentally and theoretically, the spectral momentum density (SMD) of valence electrons in solids
$$\rho ( \in ,q) = {\text{ }}\sum\limits_j {\int {dp|} {C_j}(p + G){|^2}{{( - \pi )}^{ - 1}}{\mkern 1mu} Im{\mkern 1mu} G_j^ - ( \in ,{\mkern 1mu} p){\mkern 1mu} {\delta _{q,p + G}}} .$$
