Abstract

Consider a signal a(t) whose FT, A(ω) is of the type depicted in Fig. 4.1. The spectrum is concentrated near ω = 0. In the figure A(ω) is real (and even, see Section 3.2.1), but complex spectra can be considered, the only condition being tht |A(ω)|2 is essentially localized around ω = 0.
