Abstract

The significant development and progress made during the last decade in the field of microelectronics and biotechnology have determined important overlapping of these disciplines, leading to the emerging of a new scientific branch, Molecular Manufacturing, aiming at manipulations and assembling at atomic scale to obtain molecular constructs capable of specific biochemical and electronic activity.
