Abstract
Following the opening of a dedicated anesthesia simulation center at the Veterans Affairs Palo Alto Health Care System in July 1995, we incorporated this realistic patient simulator into the current Stanford medical student clerkship in anesthesia. We report here our experiences with this course and on the response of our students to a simulation-based anesthesia education.
