Abstract

Dapr can be hosted in one of two modes – Self-hosted and Kubernetes. Self-hosted is handy for local development and gives you the freedom to host Dapr anywhere you want, but the reality is that for production workloads, you will host it in Kubernetes. So, to work with Dapr, you need to feel comfortable with Kubernetes. Kubernetes is worth a whole book. However, I will try to guide you through the basic concepts in just one chapter by covering the following topics:
