Abstract
In this chapter, you are going to learn about the value of Dapr and how it can help you to build distributed applications. It adds value by providing building blocks that depend on pluggable components. After initializing Dapr in Self-hosted mode, a simple distributed Hello World application will be created once Dapr is initialized locally.
