Abstract

In the previous chapters, we discussed a few different methods and MATLAB/Simulink built-in functions to solve IVPs of first-, second-, higher-order, and coupled ODEs defined explicitly and implicitly, and we showed examples of them. Summarizing all discussed methods, we can generalize that there are six different approaches to solving IVPs with MATLAB/Simulink tools, functions, and toolboxes and with script writing.
