Abstract

Yammer (www.yammer.com) is an online enterprise social networking service used for private communication within organizations (Figure 8-1). It was founded by David Sacks and Adam Pisoni. In June 2012, when it was sold to Microsoft for $1.2 billion, it had close to 8 million end-users.
