Abstract

As an integrated development environment, one of the strengths of Visual Studio is to help you write code more effectively and efficiently. It is a focus of the Visual Studio Team at Microsoft, and every version has several features, both big and small, aimed at improving the programming process. In this chapter, we’ll cover the figures added in Visual Studio 2019, as well as improvements that have been made to features that were introduced in earlier versions. In every instance, the goal is to reduce the effort involved in coding.
