Abstract
The purpose of this chapter is to guide you through the portal security and content management interface of Dynamics 365 portals. There are several approaches that you can take to configure portal security. Portal security does not work the same way as Dynamics 365 security works. The challenge is to grant the right access to resources, content, and data whether you have done an advanced configuration or a simple configuration. Therefore, careful planning must be done beforehand. In this chapter, you will learn how to configure security and when to use these configurations. Figure 2-1 is a high-level illustration of how portal security works.
