Abstract
It is time for an introduction to the different assistive technologies iOS has to offer and what their purpose is. We will have an overview of some of the features that the system provides, and that should work with your app out of the box, and we will have a deeper look into the ones that will require some more development work to create an appropriate and accessible experience. Figure 2-1, from one of the accessibility sessions at Apple’s WWDC, shows quick example of the variety of technologies available provided by Apple and about the importance that the company gives to accessibility.
