Abstract

Now that you have Amazon Lumberyard installed on your computer, this chapter will walk you through the layout of the engine. We are going to talk about pane navigation, some useful hot keys to help you stay more efficient in your work, and some terminology of engine-related topics. We still will not be creating any game elements or logic yet, as it will be more beneficial for us to navigate through the environment and learn the ins and outs of the Amazon Lumberyard engine before we try to jump into development mode.
