Abstract

At some point, you may come across a requirement to create a report that needs to deliver results specific to the currently logged in user who looks at the report. One scenario is when different team members need a report that shows low-level detail about items they are individually responsible for, but prevents them from seeing the same level of detail for other members in the same team. Another scenario might be to provide a report to multiple groups external to your organization, making sure the person accessing the report only sees the information they are supposed to.
