Abstract
Visual Studio has come a really long way since its initial release as Visual Studio 97 over 20 years ago. Personally, I have been working with the IDE since 2003 and have loved seeing it evolve into what it is today. The problem, though, is that developers get so bogged down in the everydayness of writing code that they tend to miss new features and productivity improvements with newer versions.
