Abstract
If you were to roll out Office 365 into your organization and let everyone start using it at will, I can guarantee that before long you would have chaos on your hands. In order to keep things under control, proper governance needs to be established. Governance can come in the form of technical controls such as permissions and prescribed rules, processes, and procedures. You can find commonalities in governance plans across organizations using Office 365. Yet there are unique business-driven differences to consider. This chapter will focus on establishing the key elements needed in an Office 365-centric governance plan.
