Abstract

Workspaces are another way of sharing Power BI content with other people. The benefit of this approach of sharing is that you can share content with a group of people and create a development environment that everyone has edit access to it. Workspaces are also aligned with Office 365 groups, which can be very helpful. Content will be shared with Power BI groups, and managing members are easily possible through the Power BI service or Office 365 admin panel. In this chapter, I get you through sharing with workspaces, what the limitations and advantages are, and how it is different from dashboard sharing. At the end of this chapter, you will have a full understanding of which scenarios are suitable to be used with this method of sharing.
