Abstract
In Chapter 2, we created the first interactive pages using a database and a table. By now, you have probably realized that what we created was not very practical; however, you learned how to embed interactivity into a real-world page. A more practical application is to allow registered users to log in and log out of private pages. When users log in, they should be able to access extra features offered by the website. These could be a page of special offers for members, or it could be the ability to add a comment in a blog, access the minutes of meetings, or view the dates of special events for members only.
