Abstract
This chapter teaches you how to execute single queries and handle their results in MySQL Connector/Python. First, the basic methods of the connection object itself are used. Then, the higher level cursors are introduced. Finally, the important topic of handling user input is covered by looking at data validation, parameterization, and prepared statements.
