Abstract

In the modern workplace, the automation of business processes and information gathering is becoming more and more commonplace. If a task at work is routine, simple, and repetitive, and involves data entry or searching for information, it is likely a good candidate for business process automation. With Microsoft Teams being a digital workspace that is meant to serve as a catalyst for communication, collaboration, decision making, and creativity, it makes sense to automate as many tasks as possible so that the focus is on bringing the team to the next level of success. Microsoft Teams allows data from third-party cloud-based applications to be leveraged, so the possibilities for business process automation are vast. Business process automation can be achieved in Microsoft Teams using bots and Microsoft Flow.
