Abstract
A site without data is (almost) like a library without shelves – we may have content in the form of books and journals, but without some way of managing where it is stored and how it is retrieved, it is useless! Thankfully Ractive can automatically manage much of the interaction required, such as re-rendering of the mustaches in the template – throughout the course of this chapter, we’ll explore the various techniques we can use, from managing simple form elements, through to observing changes and building adaptors that allow us to interface with third-party libraries such as Backbone. We’ll start this stage of our journey with a look at how Ractive manages form elements.
