Abstract
In this chapter, you’ll continue to work on the transformation of digital images. In the previous chapter, you modified mainly the pixel color information for an image, using the built-in and custom functions in Processing. In this chapter, you will focus on deforming the pixel grid of the image without changing the image content. Essentially, this changes the position of each pixel within an image and thus modifies the geometry of the original image. As the Processing language lacks such functions, you will use OpenCV to work on the exercises. At the same time, you will explore the three-dimensional features in Processing to achieve a geometric transform of digital images. The following are the topics covered in this chapter.
