Abstract
In the previous chapter, you took a look at the Material Design methodology and a basic overview of Materialize, a resourceful framework that adopts the Material Design concept. In this chapter, you will learn about the basic markup as well as the grid layout of the Materialize framework. Then you will learn about functions such as offsets, nesting of columns, and utility classes. You will also explore the responsiveness of the Materialize framework, which makes it a leading framework for web design and development.
