Abstract
Oracle GoldenGate replication is frequently used in mission-critical applications to achieve little downtime in the case of failure. In an Oracle RAC configuration, the database keeps running when one node fails. However, in an Oracle GoldenGate configuration, many critical components may be running on only one server, and if that server in the cluster fails, your OGG replication will be impacted.
