Abstract
In this chapter, I begin by defining what a data scientist is and what he or she does. Then I cover the different types of software and tools used to collect, scrub, and analyze data. Once you know the different types of software and tools used in data science, I’ll briefly go over the importance of focusing on organizational knowledge.
