Abstract

If you are going to develop applications with any complexity at all, you will need to do some programming. Holograms are given behaviors via scripts written with either C# or JavaScript if you are using Unity, or with C++ if you are using the DirectX APIs. All of the tools and information on the Windows Dev Center Web site assume you are using C# with Visual Studio. This is also the easiest path to take if you are new to application development.
