Abstract

The goal of this chapter is to try to remediate some of the issues you could possibly face in creating the home lab and its network. Some of these might involve a weirdly named DC that you can’t rename, joining machines into the domain, mapping drives, getting SharePoint scripts to run, getting the distributed cache fixed, removing a user profile service application, removing a search service application, farm servers filling up your C: drive, updating farm servers, running updates, and applying patches.
